Preparing the Pacific Northwest for the Energy Transition: Challenges and Opportunities
WSU-PNNL is announcing an impressive lineup of speakers for this year's AGI Industry Day happening August 31. AGI Industry Day will bring together colleagues from state and federal agencies, utilities, industry, national laboratories, and academia, for a day of lively panel discussions and presentations. We'll be discussing opportunities for the Pacific Northwest to leverage the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to make advances towards meeting clean energy goals.
Event Description
With a variety of electricity providers and utilities, a diverse portfolio of generation sources, and a vibrant ecosystem of research and development partners, the Pacific Northwest is uniquely positioned to lead the charge in the transition to a decarbonized energy future. Additionally, our regional power industry leaders and researchers have a successful track record of developing equitable policies and novel technologies that will bring the country closer to meeting ambitious clean energy goals.
This hybrid event will give attendees the opportunity to attend both in-person and virtually. There will be a technical meeting from 9:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. followed by a reception at the WSU Wine Science Center, 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.
